STEM Drive Africa
STEM Drive Africa is an initiative designed to empower every school going child from the primary to the tertiary level with the ability to imagine, create and operate technological ideas that seek to address problems within their community and country. This initiative basically targets students from the pre-tertiary schools to tertiary institutions, as well as professionals with the intent to draw more interest into STEM education and innovation.
Features
- Employing and certification of professionals: to ensure sustainability is rest assured and the continually mentorship of STEM education and innovation, Professionals with high expertise in STEM shall be trained as certified STEM tutors to supervise and train the beneficiaries to perfection.
- STEM Club: Every school going child who shows interest and exhibit some potentials shall be admitted into our clubs and shall be groomed to become creators in the STEM industry.
- Learning manual: Our learning manuals will be developed in collaboration with Amazon and Washington STEM.
- Financial reward: A pool of funds shall be created for innovators to solve a problem in the local communities.
- STEM Garage: there shall be a garage across centers where beneficiaries can build their projects and perfect their works, it shall also serve as a storage center.
Educational Consultancy
In a consulting role, we partner with schools in building their academic performance, school improvement plan and financial capacity. We train staff and management of schools in employing robust and contemporary teaching and learning techniques.
Seminars
We provide first hand educative seminars on various subjects to B.E.C.E and W.A.S.S.C.E Candidates. We enlighten students and teachers on question answering approaches, examination malpractices, career development, value-based leadership, and academic excellence.
Basic Schools Technology Integration Programme (BaSTIP)
We are currently working on a Basic Schools Technology Integration Programme to help digitalize basic schools in Ghana. The project seeks to capture the global positioning system (GPS) of every basic school in Ghana on the satellite maps (such as the google map) and Ghana Post Digital address system.
We are introducing digital payment platforms to school. This will directly and indirectly encourage cashless transaction in the schools and the improve ICT accessibility.
KiddieQuiz Competition
The Kiddie Quiz competition is an educational event designed to engage Junior High School students with the aim of empowering the students and promoting academic excellence.
The KiddieQuiz is organized in the month of October/ November yearly. It is organized on the Zonal and District levels.
The competition is based on the Ghana Education Service syllabus for Junior High Schools with a focus on Mathematics, Information & Communication Technology, Integrated Science & Social Studies.
